Bars, listening rooms, taprooms and music halls that host bands regularly need a house system that sounds right every night, without a truck pulling up to the loading door. Divine Audio Solutions designs and installs permanent, fixed sound systems and stage infrastructure for live music rooms across Central Florida. We install the system; your resident and visiting engineers operate it.

The main loudspeaker system

The house system is designed around the room, not around a generic package. We select line arrays or point-source loudspeakers and subwoofers to cover the audience area evenly, with front-fill and delay loudspeakers where balconies, bars or deep rooms need them. Coverage is modeled before installation so the mix position hears what the audience hears. Subwoofers can be arranged in cardioid or end-fire configurations to keep low frequencies off the stage and out of neighboring rooms. For larger rooms we often design around DAS Audio line arrays: the LARA-100, a 4-way cardioid line array with 100° horizontal coverage and a published maximum SPL of 150 dB, or the compact SARA-100, a 2-way line array with 100° horizontal coverage and a published maximum SPL of 142 dB (manufacturer figures, maximum SPL measured at 1 m).

The mix position (front of house)

Mixing console at a fixed mix position

The mixing position is a permanent part of the room. We locate it within the main coverage, ideally on the room's centerline and away from rear walls, and install power, signal and network cabling to it. The console, whether analog or digital, connects to the stage over analog multicore or a digital audio network, and to the system processor.

Stage box and cabling infrastructure

A well-built stage saves time every single night. We install:

  • Wall or floor stage boxes with labeled microphone inputs and returns at practical locations.
  • A multicore or digital snake from stage to the mix position, run in permanent pathways.
  • Tie lines for instruments, playback and recording.
  • Dedicated power circuits for stage equipment, coordinated with a licensed electrician to reduce hum and ground problems.

Monitor infrastructure

We prewire monitor sends to stage locations for floor wedges and provide inputs for personal in-ear monitor systems. Where the room warrants it, we design a separate monitor mix position or monitor mixing from the main console. Wedges and amplification can be part of the permanent installation.

DSP and system protection

A dedicated system processor sits between the console and the amplifiers. It holds the loudspeaker crossovers, equalization, delay alignment and limiters. The tuned settings are locked and backed up, so a visiting engineer can mix freely without changing the system's tuning or risking damage. Optional zone outputs feed bar, patio and green room loudspeakers.

Level management

Live rooms face neighbors and noise ordinances too. Directional design and subwoofer arrays keep energy in the room, and system limiters can set a ceiling.

Tuning and commissioning

After installation we tune the system with a measurement microphone and analysis software: equalizing each loudspeaker group, aligning mains, subwoofers, fills and delays, and verifying coverage across the audience area. We deliver a short system document: signal flow, input list, stage box map and saved settings.

Our process

  1. Consult about your room, typical acts and how the space is used.
  2. Site walk to assess structure, power, sightlines and cable routes.
  3. Design you approve, with loudspeaker layout, mix position and stage plan.
  4. Install and tune, scheduled around your calendar.
  5. Training for your house engineer and staff.
  6. Service, maintenance plans and re-tuning as the room changes.

Frequently asked questions

Do you provide sound engineers to mix bands?

No. We install and service the permanent system. Your engineers operate it, and we train them on it.

Can visiting engineers use their own console?

Yes. We can provide standard connection points at the mix position and stage so another console can be patched in without changing the system tuning.

Can you reuse our existing loudspeakers?

Possibly. We audit them during the site walk.

Can the system also play recorded music between sets?

Yes. A playback input and zone outputs can run background music through the same system at lower levels.
